Survey | QBCC governance review

On 16 November 2021 the Queensland Government announced the Department of Energy and Public Works had commissioned an independent review of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) governance arrangements.

The independent review aims to ensure that the governance of the QBCC is contemporary, fit for purpose and reflects best practice.

What we asked

We asked for your feedback on:

  • the current QBCC governance framework
  • supporting leadership and capability for effective implementation.

The review will focus on 4 key areas:

  1. Strategy and planning
  2. Capability and culture
  3. Process and structure
  4. Performance

The consultation closed at 5pm on Wednesday 9 March.
